Janet, You are so right. If we are forewarned, we ar forearmed.
If we become aware of what situations and/or people push us over to anger then we can make a choice of how to respond - a choice of what or WHO we want to shine through us. We have a choice, through our own free will, whether to build up the person or situation for God's glory or to enter into the downward spiral that anger drags us into. We need God's help though. God is always there right by our side during difficult times - we just need to remember to call upon HIM to help us! This can be difficult in times of anger, frustration or dispair (situations where the evil one seems to have a stronghold on). But, we are stronger than anger, frustration or dispair- because we have the SPIRIT of GOD living within us! Maggie, you are awesome! Once again your "transparency", as Janet puts it leads me closer and forearmed!
Peace!

Hi Debbie! I hope you don't mind--I added a title for your post so that it shows up on the dashboards and home pages.
ReplyDeleteThe most recent posts have reminded me of our discussions on "trusting in the nature of God" from last year's study on Ephesians, so I have decided to post some of them in our blog. Perhaps we will find it worthy of re-contemplation as we enter into Lent!!
love you all!
